Your household belongings are usually insured at home through a home contents policy. This policy is based on a low risk situation. However these policies generally do not apply to the goods when they are in transit. Our Moving Consultants and Coordinators are ASIC accreditated representatives of our licenced insurance broker. They are qualified to provide you with factual insurance information on our insurance product, which has been specifically designed to protect your goods during transit and/or storage in our warehouses.
Recent changes to the Commonwealth Financial Services Act mean that only selected removal companies, who hold Australian Furniture Removers Association (AFRA) membership are eligible to arrange insurance for their customers. Click here for more information.
